An elaborate and gorgeous illustration of the Hina Doll Festival

This exhibition announces the arrival of spring during Japan's Hina Doll Festival period as it shows the elaborate dolls owned by the Owari Tokugawa clan from the Edo period to modern times. Dolls dressed in the attire actually worn by court officials during the Edo period, miniture and elaborate wedding accessories, stepped displays of three generations of modern Owari Tokugawa wives's dolls, and other ornate Hina doll exhibits only powerful daimyo families could afford decorate the exhibition room.

Parking	: The Tokugawa Art Museum parking lot: • 17 spaces available free of charge, 9:45 am–5:30 pm. Nagoya City Tokugawaen Garden parking lot: • 80 spaces (parking for large buses too) available 6:00 am–11:00 pm (9:15 am–5:00 pm) • Price: JPY 100/25 min. for passenger vehicles (for as long as the vehicle is in the parking lot) • Bus price: JPY 500 within 60 min. JPY 500 for every 30 min. after. Notes: • No discount available on parking.
