Floral scents lure eventgoers into a botanical paradise

The trellised wisterias of Koto Garden are beloved by the citizens of Hekinan and take center stage during the Wisteria Festival, held from mid- to late April. Over one and a half meters of blossom bunches decorate the 1,000-square-meter area, painting it in floral hues and wafting fragrant scents through the air.
During the event period, lanterns light up the night in addition to other fun-filled festivities.

Access by public transport

From Meitetsu Hekinan-Chuo Station, transfer to the Kurukuru Bus and get off at Kotoen-Nishi Bus Stop. Walk 1 min.
Access by car

Approx. 25 min. east from Handa Interchange on Chitahanto Road via Routes 34, 265, and 45. The Kinu'ura Tunnel requires a fee.
