Aichi Museum of Flight, Experience the Proud History of Aichi's Aerospace Technology

Development and production of Japan’s aerospace industry has long been centered in the advanced manufacturing hub of Aichi Prefecture.
One of the world’s greatest propeller driven fighter aircraft, the formidable Mitsubishi Zero was built in Aichi, along with a number of other wartime aircraft. Many of Japan’s Self Defense Forces’ jet and turboprop aircraft including helicopters are built and maintained in Aichi, where the nation’s first 100% designed and built helicopter, the MH2000 was created. Module parts of the International Space Station, satellite launch rockets and other space hardware is also made in Aichi.
