Daiju-ji, The Beautiful, Historical Temple of the Shogun

One of the most beautiful and most historical temples in Aichi is the Daiju-ji, a Jodo Sect Buddhist temple patronized by the lords of Okazaki, the Matsudaira and Tokugawa clans. It was founded in 1475 by the 4th Matsudaira clan head, Matsudaira Chikatada.
