This year marks the 42nd anniversary of a Hina doll exhibition beginning in January 1983. Dolls which once decorated the households of families as a wish for their children's and grandchildren's healthy upbringing are put on display for all to adore.
This year's display focuses on the changes in style of Hina doll display through the imperial court life displays popular during the Showa period (1926–1989).
Feel the different ages of display from the simple, plain wood stages dolls were placed on in this area to the steadily evolving elaborate and gorgeous styles.
