Used to irrigate the Mikawa region, Lake Mikawa is the largest man-made irrigation lake in Aichi Prefecture and is surrounded by abundant nature. There is a 16-kilometer drive course around the lake’s perimeter, and many people come to see the lake’s seasonal beauty in each season.
The area is also equipped with rest stations, walking paths, bungalows, and camping grounds. Visitors can enjoy renting a boat for a leisurely ride or lure fishing.
