Nagoya-City "Wear the Brocade" - Tokugawaen Garden Autumn Leaves Festival
(Nishiki-wo-Mato Tokugawaen Koyo Matsuri)
Date : 11/20/2021 - 12/05/2021
Tokugawaen Garden is the widely renowned Japanese garden with pond and spring in a location close to downtown Nagoya. From mid-November, the garden's 300-ish momiji maples (Acer) and nishikigi winged spindles (Euonymus alatus) become vividly colored, deepening the feeling of autumn on the premises. To coincide with this, the Autumn Leaves Festival (Koyo Matsuri) is held with artificial illumination, so guests are able to enjoy wholly different sights from the daytime garden.
