Inuyama-City Jakkoin Temple Maple Festival

Date : 11/05/2023 - 12/05/2023

  • Jakkoin Temple Maple Festival

Known as the "Maple Leaf Temple" and the Owari region's top spot for autumn colors

The city of Inuyama's Jakkoin Temple has a nickname: the "Owari Maple Leaf Temple". And it is just that—about 1,000 Japanese maples with many of gigantic proportions turn into beautiful shades of autumn for a view which is nearly indescribable. The Maple Festival is held at the beginning of November, and together with the beautiful scenery, the popular sweetfish sushi (sushi rolls with sweetfish simmered in a sweet sauce) acts as an added cherry on top!
