Obara Kabuki is an intangible folk cultural property of Toyota City, with showings twice a year on the last Sunday of May and the last Sunday of October.
On the last Sunday of October, the Obara Kabuki performance coincides with the Obara Cultural Festival, held with local artistic presentations and pieces on display at the Obara Community Center.
