Typically closed to the public, this area is open for a limited time in spring and autumn.
Enjoy the natural surroundings of the abandoned railway and autumn gorge, combining autumn leaves with the Aigi Tunnel Group’s red brick tunnels which have remained in place ever since the railway track opened in 1900 along the Shonai River Gorge!

Date	: November 26 (Saturday) to December 4 (Sunday), 2022 *: Cancelled in the case of rain
Holding time	: Gates open 9:30 AM (admission until 2:00 PM) Gates close 3:00 PM

Fee	: Admission fee: 100 yen (includes insurance fee and maintenance costs) *Elementary school students and younger free of charge

Parking	: As there are no nearby parking lots, please use the JR Chuo Line.

Cautionary notes	: ○Ballast (crushed stone) remains on the abandoned railway line. Please wear shoes that are easy to walk in. ○Please bring a flashlight. ○Pets are not allowed to enter. ○During the event period, bento lunch boxes, drinking water and so on will be sold at the venue.

Access by public transport

From Nagoya Station on the JR Chuo Line, alight at Jokoji Station and walk upstream 300 meters.
*: Since Jokoji Station is not staffed, purchasing a round-trip ticket is recommended.
