Nagoya's botanical paradise

Inaugurated in 1909, Tsuruma Park is the first park created by the city of Nagoya after its establishment as a municipality, and as such, is a famous spot for all kinds of flora, especially the flowering kind: Cherry blossoms, roses, irises, and many more. During its Flower Festival, the cherry grove—selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossoms Spots—becomes alive with color and even lights up the night when cherry blossoms are illuminated for a beauty rivaling that of the daytime.
In addition to this botanical brilliance, the festival offers food trucks, markets, and a variety of other events, so come join in on the fun of Tsuruma Park's Flower Festival!
