Toyota Oiden Festival—Finishing with the largest-scale fireworks displays in the entire Tokai region

The Toyota Oiden Festival is the city of Toyota's largest festival and places the spotlight on its citizens. Coworkers, neighbors, friends, and people from all walks of life come together and dance to the special "Oiden [Come on]" theme song during its Oiden Dance Festival.
Toyota is a large city, so even in each area, there are smaller versions, or My Town Oiden Dance Festivals, but on the final Saturday of July is the comprehensive "Sou-Odori" dance, in which a seemingly endless line of dance groups and people dance down the main strip of downtown Toyota to the east of Toyotashi Station.
The festival comes to its culmination with a fireworks display which is almost hard to describe in words. Shot off to music, pouring down like water from Niagara Falls, sequenced one after another, and launched from handheld cannons, the vast variety of fireworks and their ceaseless display is so spectacular it might even bring a tear to your eye.
