Many of Japan’s Self Defense Forces’ jet and turboprop aircraft including helicopters are built and maintained in Aichi, where the nation’s first 100% designed and built helicopter, the MH2000 was created. Module parts of the International Space Station, satellite launch rockets and other space hardware is also made in Aichi.
