Nisshin-Cityplantation restaurant - suburbian
A farm restaurant born thanks to Japan's Special Economic Zones National Strategy
suburbian is a farm restaurant that was built in an area designated as Special Economic Zone and converted for agricultural use, the fourth of this type in the country and first in Aichi Prefecture. Aiming to promote the concepts of "Chisan-Chisho" and "Rokuji Sangyoka", the facility is legally bound to source at least 50% of the ingredients and materials it consumes from its own land or from other local producers in the municipality of Nisshin City. Starting with the fresh vegetables harvested from its own food plots, guests are able to experience a simple yet tasty cuisine made almost entirely from delicious, seasonal local produce.
*: Chisan-Chisho - 地産地消 means "locally produced, locally consumed". Rokuji Sangyoka - 6次産業化 means "sixth-order industrialization", implementing a business model that merges the three stages of industrialization: extraction/production, processing, and transporting/retailing.
